STM Drifter Backpack
The long awaited STM Drifter has finally arrived. First glance at this backpack you’ll notice how slim it looks. But don’t be fooled, this backpack can fit a 15” laptop, tablet, DSLR camera, extra lens, and all the accessories needed. The details and thought put into this backpack has definitely become one of my favorites.

Review:
The exterior is made of Cottna 320D/640D Water Resistant Poly. What that means is, it looks durable, feels durable and it is durable. The front panel pockets comes in handy to put your accessories. Anything from sunglasses, pens, business cards, flashlights, keys, power adapters, etc.
The foam mesh back panel makes the backpack comfortable to wear, even for long hours. The padded shoulder straps also helps on the weight distribution.
The sternum strap adds support. Nice touch is the metal buckle. Makes it more durable.
Between the mesh padding you’ll find a nicely tacked in strap. This strap is secures your bag to the handle of your wheeled luggage. This is one of the best looking luggage strap on the market.
Once you’re in the main compartment, you’ll more pockets for storage. The see-thru zipper pocket is great to put loose items.
The laptop pocket easily fit a 15” laptop. The tablet pocket also fits ipads and any sized tablets. There are two extra pockets in front which you can put cables, adapters, external drives, etc.
The bottom of the backpack is reinforced with 640D fabric. Hence more durable. There’s also a zipper in the bottom that holds a detachable rain cover.
Side pockets fits water bottles. Also one side is zippered, so you can store anything without the risk of falling out. With all the pockets and space, I can use it for conventions to carry my camera gears. Use it for commute to work. Use it for travel. It’s easier when there’s a separate pocket for laptops when going thru security check points. This is definitely one of my favorite backpacks.
